I need to redirect users to Japanese version of paypal long in page when order is submitted for "PayPal Website Payments Standard" instead of US page. I have web site, where people can upload theirs mp3 files - I used php to count every downloading and before giving file to a user I insert information to mysql base. This works fine. But now there are lot's of downloads and site gives 503(not sure but timeout error). I heared that there other ways to agange statistics - may be to keep some logs of file downloadings and then use some cron script to insert multi data to mysql. Could you offer any solution and can you release it?
